The Value of Our Skip is Unbeaten.

We sell most of our landscape supplies by the skip. A "skip" is an open container used for transporting materials, such as the bucket on the front end of a tractor. Skips come in various sizes. Our skip is 5/8 of a cubic yard for decorative landscape rock, giving you enough decorative rock to cover approximately 100 square feet (a 10-foot- by 10-foot area) at 2 inches deep.

This is 25% more than what you would get with a half-yard skip---a size commonly used by others---which only gives you 80 square feet of material. 25% more?

When used for gathering our variety of top-quality soil amendments and barks, our mounded skip gives you approximately one cubic yard of material, which covers about 160 square feet at 2 inches deep.
